Key considerations

How we support projects

We assess operational load profiles, grid capacity, charging processes and commercial requirements before sizing a battery system. The concept needs to consider battery power in kW, energy capacity in kWh and the actual dispatch strategy.

Peak shaving and flexibility

Peak shaving may reduce billed maximum demand where tariff and metering rules allow. Flexible operation can also help shift charging demand, but grid connection requirements and storage operating limits must be modelled.

Commercial evaluation

A sound business case considers capex, integration, degradation, efficiency, insurance, maintenance, charging costs and the applicable electricity tariff. There is no universal payback period.
