High Power Charging for E-Trucks: Compact. Scalable. Future-Ready.

WILLBERT Amber II S-HUB is a powerful, modular high-performance charging system for heavy-duty vehicles and buses. Delivering up to 720 kW charging capacity and 500A continuous current via liquid-cooled CCS cables to up to 8 dispensers, it is ideally suited for logistics centres, depots and truck hubs.

The system is compact, scalable and optimised for 800V–1000V vehicles. Its stable performance, efficient cooling, and intelligent load management via the Amber II S-HUB meet the highest demands in terms of reliability, efficiency and future readiness in fleet operations.

WILLBERT is ready for the electrification of logistics fleets. A pilot project with FNM Logistics Central Europe is currently underway to test this high-performance system in real-world conditions.

Towards Net Zero: 540 kWh Battery Storage at Stuttgart Airport

At Stuttgart Airport, a cutting-edge energy management system has been deployed with a focus on sustainability and supply security. A 540 kWh battery storage unit from Voltfang serves as the central energy platform – optimising self-consumption, reducing load peaks and integrating existing photovoltaic systems.

The battery system is directly connected to the power grid and a new truck charging infrastructure. It is centrally controlled via an energy management hub – flexible, efficient, and future-proof.

Implementation was carried out in close technical collaboration with Omexom Smart Technologies GmbH. The system can potentially be scaled up to 1 MW for grid connection and 2 MW input capacity – a flagship project for climate-neutral airport infrastructure in Germany.

Every WILLBERT charging station can be expanded into a smart retail hub via BuyBERT: while charging, customers can purchase snacks, beverages or other daily essentials via the integrated display – including flexible billing options, either bundled with charging or handled separately.

AdBERT transforms the charging station into a digital advertising space. Operators use the integrated screens to display site-specific content – such as services or promotions – managed conveniently via the central HAWKE CMS.

A current showcase: ORLEN SA is using BuyBERT and AdBERT to combine charging infrastructure with retail and advertising – offering a holistic customer experience and creating new revenue streams at each location.
